Netro DNS
Domains, DNS & certificates
Also known as Inetro DNS, NetroDNS

Domains, DNS and certificates — every change reviewed and recorded.

Register, transfer and renew domains with a second person's approval. Change Cloudflare DNS safely: each change is risk-rated, warns you what it could break, waits for approval when it is risky and keeps a snapshot of what it replaced. Certificates renew themselves on the servers you manage with Netro RMM.

Price From €0.60 per managed domain · minimum €29 / month. See pricing

Key features

What Netro DNS does.

  1. Step 01

    Safe DNS changes

Every Cloudflare DNS edit becomes a change set with a risk rating, warnings about the mail or delegation it could break, and a snapshot of the records it replaces. High-risk changes need a second person's approval before they are applied.

  2. Step 02

    Automatic renewal

Certificates are installed and renewed automatically on servers managed by Netro RMM.

  3. Step 03

    Email security

Check SPF, DKIM and DMARC for every domain and fix them through a change set. An SPF record over the 10-lookup limit can be hosted, flattened, by Netro DNS, and DMARC reports show which senders pass and why the others fail.

  4. Step 04

    Mail tester

Every customer gets a test address. Send a mail to it and read in plain words why it passed or failed SPF, DKIM and DMARC, with the steps to fix it, the route it took, and an AI explanation when you ask.

  5. Step 05

    Cloudflare Tunnels

See which hostnames each tunnel serves and which RMM device runs it. Add a hostname through a change set and monitor the tunnel and its hostnames.

  6. Step 06

    Zone settings

DNSSEC, redirects and Cloudflare settings such as Always Use HTTPS, the encryption mode, minimum TLS and HSTS. A setting change waits for approval; an approver can apply it at once, and that is recorded with their reason.

  7. Step 07

    Domains

Register, transfer and renew at Openprovider or Namecheap, with two-person approval where the customer requires it. For any domain, see its registrar, expiry date and DNSSEC status.

Also in Netro DNS

  • Certificates

Issue certificates through ACME or Cloudflare Origin CA, with one overview of all certificates and alerts before they expire.

  • Every change logged

Each DNS change is logged with what it looked like before and after.

  • Tools

Analysers, lookups and generators for any domain: every record a name has, the SPF tree, MX and DNS lookups, and SPF, DMARC and DKIM record generators. Inside a domain, a generated record becomes a change set.

How it works

Getting started

  1. Connect your accounts

Add your registrar and Cloudflare accounts under Connections. Keys go into the Dashboard's encrypted vault.

  2. Import your domains

Domains and zones are found automatically, with registrar, expiry date and DNSSEC status.

  3. Change safely

Propose a change, have it approved when it is risky, then apply it.

  4. Automate certificates

Issue, renew and install certificates, with expiry alerts as a safety net.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which DNS provider does Netro DNS manage?

Cloudflare: records, DNSSEC, zone settings and redirects.

Can a DNS change be undone?

Every change set keeps a snapshot of the records it replaced, so you can see exactly what to put back. Nothing is written to Cloudflare until the change set is applied.

Which registrars are supported?

Openprovider and Namecheap, for availability, prices, registration, transfer and renewal. For any other domain, Netro DNS looks up the registrar and expiry date.

How are certificates installed?

Certificates from ACME or Cloudflare Origin CA can be installed and renewed automatically on servers managed by Netro RMM.

Want us to manage it? See DNS & Domains for domains and certificates, and Email Deliverability for SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
